Mimi Lok is the author of the story collection

. She is the winner of the 2020 PEN/Robert W. Bingham prize for debut short story collection, a Smithsonian Ingenuity Award, and an Ylvisaker Award for Fiction, and a 2020 finalist for the National Magazine Award and the Northern California Book Award.
